An ISSN is an eight digit number assigned to a serial publication that identifies it worldwide.

How do I get an ISSN for my journal?

A journal obtains their ISSN outside of Scholastica. Forms for applying for an ISSN can be found at the Library of Congress website here.

How do I add my existing ISSN to Scholastica?

If you've already secured an ISSN, you can add this number to Scholastica by visiting My Journals > Settings and filling either fields for P-ISSN, E-ISSN, or both.

Note: Only the journal admin can add an ISSN number.
