Editors on Scholastica can see all the manuscripts submitted to a journal, invite reviewers to manuscripts, and make publication decisions on manuscripts. To become an editor, you must be invited by the journal's administrator. When you're invited to become an editor of a journal on Scholastica, you'll get an email from the journal.
Click Accept Invitation - you'll be taken to a sign-up page. If you already have an account, click Login and log in to your account.
If you don't have an account, you can quickly create one on this page:
- In the Profile Info section, enter your name, institution, position, and areas of expertise.
- In the Account Info section, enter the email address at which you received the invitation. Enter your password and then check the box to agree to the terms of service.
- Click Signup.
You'll be sent a confirmation email.
- In the email, click Confirm my account.
This will confirm your account, confirm your acceptance of the invitation to be an editor and it will automatically log you in.
You'll see a message confirming your editorship. Congratulations! Click My Journals to start editing your journal.
