Metadata on Scholastica

Scholastica understands the important role that metadata plays in discoverability. 

The metadata posted for each article published on Scholastica is listed below:

• Article title
• Author name(s)
• Abstract
• Keywords
• Article publication date
• Volume and issue the article is in (if applicable)
• Journal title
• Journal ISSN
• Journal publisher

The article metadata come from the authors themselves when they upload their manuscript.

Journal metadata (journal title, volume, issue, publisher, ISSN, article DOI) are managed by the journal’s admin user by going to My Journals > Settings.
