Article PDF layouts and customization options

If you're using Scholastica Production, you can choose between two different layouts for your article's PDF.

Currently we offer two layouts — click below to view examples of those options:

To change your Article PDF layout

  1. Login and navigate to the publishing settings: My Journals > Publishing > Publishing SettingsArticle PDF layout selection screen showing thumbnail previews of multiple layout options
  2. Find the "Article PDF Setting" and click the Edit button. You'll be prompted to choose either single-column or two-column layout.

  3. You can make other customizations to your article PDFs: optionally displaying your journal name, optionally displaying your issue information, optionally displaying page numbers for each article, and optionally displaying a header image for your articles.

Please note: After updating your article PDF layout, all future article PDFs will use the newly selected layout — your update will not affect article PDFs published prior to your change.
