Why wasn’t my subsidized user able to login?

The subsidized users you entered into your institutional account need to first create an account on Scholastica at https://scholasticahq.com/users/sign_up.

As long as your users create their account using the email address you are subsidizing, then their Scholastica account will automatically be linked to your institutional account.

You can verify that a user has successfully linked their accounts by logging into your institutional account at https://institutions.scholasticahq.com, clicking “Manage subsidized authors”, and look for the author's name or email in the authors table. You will be able to see if they have created an account on Scholastica.
